It's tough for the Australian squad to set fresh records.

The greatest achievements have been successfully scaled.

We're talking about the squad that has claimed seven Cricket World Cups, plus another six T20 titles, and once went over three years undefeated in 50-over cricket.

The alternative records, the ones sought by the record chasers, are what's still available for a side that has accomplished all there is.

That it took up to Sunday's three-wicket win over India for them to accomplish their maiden ODI chase exceeding 300, reclaiming their record for the largest in the female 50-over format, is, honestly, a compliment to the bowling attack that have represented Australia over five decades.

These statements will be the final thing rival teams at this tournament want to hear.

During the last week a belief they will succeed regardless of circumstances has become more firm - this success coming after win against Pakistan by 107 runs despite being 76-7 at one point.
